The comeback that moves us
Lewis Capaldi
returns to Portugal
After nearly two years away from the stage, Lewis Capaldi returns with “Survive” the single that officially opens a new chapter in his career and sets the tone for his EP Survive, released on November 14. Raw and deeply intimate, the track explores the struggle of moving forward, reaffirming the artist’s talent for transforming vulnerability into universal emotion.
This return follows a sold-out, critically acclaimed tour, standout performances at BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and The Graham Norton Show, and the success of the singles “Survive” and “Something In The Heavens.” The EP brings together these three tracks and also debuts “The Day That I Die,” already being hailed as one of the most powerful songs of his career.
With a career defined by global hits such as “Someone You Loved” — the most streamed song of all time in the UK — a GRAMMY®-nominated documentary, and two number-one albums, Lewis Capaldi now enters a new chapter, stronger and more emotional than ever.

Lewis Capaldi is experiencing one of the most remarkable comebacks of his career. After almost two years away from the spotlight, he has returned with new music and reconnected with audiences with renewed energy. In recent months, he has delivered an impressive resurgence: a completely sold-out tour, standout performances on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and The Graham Norton Show, and the debut of new tracks that have quickly become central to this new chapter.
His new EP, Survive, brings together the songs released since his return: “Survive”, “Something In The Heavens” and “Almost”, and also introduces “The Day That I Die” — a track that has deeply moved audiences throughout the tour and stands as one of the most personal and powerful songs he has ever released. With these new pieces, Capaldi appears more intimate, honest and vulnerable than ever, reinforcing his ability to transform difficult experiences into music of immense emotional impact.
Critics have followed his comeback with consistent acclaim. Outlets such as Rolling Stone UK, The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Sunday Times have praised the strength of his performances, his artistic evolution and the emotional depth of this new chapter. At the same time, the singer is preparing for the biggest shows of his career in the UK and Ireland, including two dates at BST Hyde Park. The single “Survive” has become the best-selling track of 2025 in the UK, giving him his sixth Number 1 and cementing his place among the most successful artists of his generation.
This new phase comes after pivotal years for the artist: two Number 1 albums, chart-topping global hits, a GRAMMY®-nominated Netflix documentary, and the worldwide impact of “Someone You Loved” — the most-streamed song of all time in the UK and one of the most-played globally. Now, back in the studio and on stage, Lewis Capaldi presents himself more mature, more assured and more deeply connected with his audience, ready to continue writing one of the most compelling stories in contemporary music.
